What activities does Lakeside Ski & Wake offer?We provide a range of watersports activities, including wakeboarding, waterskiing, and fun inflatable rides such as ringos. Our sheltered, tree-lined lake is ideal for both beginners and experienced participants.

Do you offer lessons for beginners?Yes, we offer beginner lessons for both wakeboarding and waterskiing. Our experienced, British Water Ski Federation-qualified coaches provide one-on-one instruction, ensuring a high success rate. Most beginners are able to ski or wakeboard behind the boat after their lesson.

What is the minimum age requirement?We welcome participants aged 6 and above. However, if a younger child is confident in the water, they may be able to participate in certain activities.

Are group bookings available?Yes, we cater to groups, including birthday parties, hen and stag parties, and corporate events. We can create bespoke packages that include fun rides followed by food in our Lakeside Restaurant.

Is there an on-site restaurant?Yes, our Lakeside Brasserie offers freshly ground coffee, home-cooked food, and a well-stocked bar. You can relax and dine on our lakeside terrace while enjoying a great view of all the watersports action.

What should I bring for my session?Please bring your swimwear and towels. We provide all other necessary equipment, including wetsuits and safety gear.

Do you provide equipment?Yes - everything you need; wetsuits, wakeboards, waterskis and bouyancy aids are all provided. Just bring swimwear and towels.

What is the minimum age?We welcome over 6 year olds, however if a younger child is confident in the water they could participate in some activities.

Is the water cold?It's a lot warmer than you would think, especially during the summer and early autumn. Wearing a wetsuit (which we provide) is generally a good idea in in early Spring.
